On Friday, Nov. 28, rapper Busta Rhymes took a nasty fall into the stage pit after a surprise appearance during protege O.T. Genasis' performance at New York City's Webster Hall.

Billboard suggests that the New York native rapper may have been intoxicated prior to his fall as he was seen "with a cigar in one hand and a bottle of liquor in the other."

Following Rhymes' dangerous nose dive, the rapper was propped up by the venue's security team, who escorted Rhymes backstage.

TMZ obtained photos of the rapper who appeared to be suffering from a bloodied head after his fall.

Fans also video taped the incident which can be seen below.

Billboard reports that Rhymes did not return to the stage following his fall and head injury; however, he did tweet out that he was "super good" following his fall.

Rhymes also posted an Instagram video of the incident and poked fun at fellow rapper, Wiz Khalifa, who is known for his stage dives.

Rhymes' accident occurred during O.T. Genasis' performance of his latest hit single, "Coco," which the new rapper recently named as his first of many singles to be released as part of his "strategic plan."

"You know with ''Coco' that sh*t is crazy, but I have a strategic plan pieced together that I can't really give out to you, but just know I'm just working my ass off," Genasis said during a recent interview with Noisey. "The great thing about 'Coco' is that for anybody who hears it, it just sticks. Everybody automatically just f**ks with it, so me promoting it and doing all that I can for it is going to be a plus."
