Beck's father David Campbell worked on and conducted Beyonce's 2006 Grammy-winning "B' Day" album, MTV reports.

Campbell also contributed to one of Bey's famous tracks, "Listen."

The arranger, orchestrator, conductor and sometimes session player worked on some of the hottest albums in the past five decades including Taylor Swift's best-selling album "Red."

Campbell worked on Adele's "21," Carole King's "Tapestry" and Justin Timberlake's "FutureSex/LoveSounds."

Beck's dad also worked on many of Beck's albums, including the Grammy-winning "Morning Phase."

Beck won this year's Grammy for Best Album over Beyoncé's historical album, upsetting Kanye West, who believed Beck should have given his award to the "Flawless" singer.

As Beck was accepting his award, West approached the stage and just shook his head and left. In a post-interview with E!, the rapper and clothes designer said that the Grammys needed to respect real artistry and music.

After those comments, groups of people started to compare Beck and Beyoncé long after the buzz of the Grammys was gone.

The Guardian reports that the two artists could not be compared on just one aspect and one album. Instead, they should be judged on charisma, production, cultural impact, sales and, Kanye's favorite, artistry.

Beyoncé is more charismatic than Beck, stunning people with her beauty, stellar dance moves and sexy music videos. But Beck wins when it comes to artistry since he wrote his entire "Morning Phase" album while Beyoncé collaborated with multiple writers for her self-named album.

Yet, Beyoncé has a bigger cultural impact than Beck since she reaches the hearts of the youth and provokes conversation in the business world with her songs based on feminism.

Both stars, however, meet head-to-head on production with great sound in their music.

Beyoncé's self-named album is her biggest-selling record since the start of her successful career. She sold just over 2 million in the United States compared to Beck's sells.

Kanye West has since apologized to Beck with a series of tweets

"I would like to publicly apologize to Beck, I'm sorry Beck," he said.
