Though Christian Grey may have the freedom to do what he wants, thanks to his money and availability, the man who plays him, Jamie Dornan, does not as he is married. However, Dornan shut down rumors that his wife was against his role in the hit "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie.

Speaking to the Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye, Dornan, 32, refuted the rumors that his wife, actress Amelia Warner, was opposed to the movie because of its sexual content, a rumor that had been circulating since the movie was released.

"Total bollocks," he said. "Of course she would have read the scripts well in advance, and she's massively supportive of 'Fifty Shades.'"

Warner, the rumors said, did not want Dornan to do the sequels, which are slated to start filming next spring, according to Dornan. However, Dornan reaffirmed that he will star in the sequels: "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed."

"The idea was that we honor the trilogy and do all three," he said.

It remains uncertain, however, whether or not director Sam Taylor-Johnson will return. Reports have said she and the trilogy's author, E.L. James, had many creative differences that caused strife throughout the filming of the first movie.

What about another strained relationship on the set? It was believed that Dornan did not have great chemistry with his costar, Dakota Johnson, who plays the demure Anastasia Steele.

Gawker compiled a series on instances during the pair's press tour promoting the film in which they looked uncomfortable with one another.

Dornan says this is also codswallop.

"They wouldn't have shot the film with us if there was a chemistry problem ... whatever chemistry means. You have to jump through a lot of hoops to get a part like this, and they simply wouldn't have cast us," he told the Daily Mail.

The film's success, calculated at around $550 million worldwide since it was released Valentine's Day weekend, could also mean higher paychecks for its stars. The Hollywood Reporter hinted the stars, who were paid $250,000 each for their part in the film, might seek more for the sequels.
