Paris Hilton is insisting she finally feels as if she has outgrown the whole party girl scene.

According to E! News, the 34-year-old hotel heiress claims her endless nights of partying are now a thing of the past.

"I like to see girls looking hot and having fun -- that's what life's about," she told the website. "But I'm kinda over the whole scene. I used to love going out all the time but now it's only for DJ'ing and getting paid. Thursday is the cool night, and I have to get up and work."

Once endlessly mocked as "being famous for being famous," Hilton has seemingly amassed a vast empire all of her own over the last decade. The 18 perfumes she has launched over that time alone have generated more than $2 billion in revenue.

In addition, she has as many as 56 eponymous branded stores in the Middle East and Asia that offer lines of handbags. Paris Hilton Entertainment also has 16 licenses and patents across the categories of clothing, accessories, beauty and watches, employing hundreds around the world.

Still, Hilton admits she hasn't always been her best advocate in terms of putting forth her best face.

"I was playing a character on 'The Simple Life,' so I don't blame people for thinking I was ditzy," she said of the reality show she once starred on with childhood best friend Nicole Richie.

"People assumed that's who I really was," she added. "Now they meet me and realize I'm completely different. But it doesn't bother me that people thought I was dumb. Playing that character made life easier -- I do have a certain amount of shyness, which I'm sure is a surprise to people. And I've never cared what people think about me -- I know the truth."
