In "Exposure," the upcoming 19th episode of the Emily VanCamp-starring ABC hit show “Revenge,” Emily Thorne has a promising future before her as the character Amanda Clarke.

That is, until Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) uncovers some hardcore new secrets from her past and messes with everything.

The roles of the actual revenge-wielder have definitely shifted around in the last few episodes of the series.

James Tupper, who plays David Clarke on the show, spoke to Buddy TV via email about all the twists and turns fans could expect from the show.

If there is a season five, Tupper expects that his character, who has already been presumed dead once, will be right in all the action.

“The show's writers are very clever at winding unexpected plots,” said the 49-year old Canadian actor who played Dr. Chris Sands on the NBC medical drama series “Mercy.”

“There's a whopper in episode 20. Even I couldn't believe it,” said Tupper.

For the man who got his big break (as well as relationship with his co-star) in the Anne Heche-starring romantic comedy “Men in Trees,” being an actor was a dream he spent his life doing anything he had to in order to achieve.

“I've actually always aspired to be an actor, I just did a lot of jobs on the way to support the habit,” said Tupper.

The actor goes on the say that he "worked as everything from a bus boy to a carpenter to banquet bartender to all night waiter. Nobody can fire someone from having a dream.”

Obviously considering himself multi-talented, Tupper talks up his ability to cut a rug, saying: “You need to know that if there was an Olympics for disco dancing, I would take the gold.”

According to Spoilers Guide, the rest of Episode 20 will focus on Emily accepting her future.

"After Victoria is attacked, she takes matters into her own hands, while Emily is forced to come to terms with what she really wants," the site reveals

Episode 19 of “Revenge” airs Sunday, April 12 at 10 p.m. ET on the ABC.
