In a recent article on Four Pins, writer Ernest Baker got a chance to spend some time with Grammy Award winning artist Drake at his house at a pre-Coachella party.

Drake gave him a little dish on his upcoming album, "Views From The 6," which he said he's already finished two songs for. One of those songs, by the way, is a collaboration with Beyonce.

The Canadian hip-hop artist said he only has two songs for the album that he actually likes. Of course, the song with Beyonce is one, but the other one is expected to be a departure from his previous work.He said he expects it to inspire a paradigm shift, which means his days of churning out "lay-up bangers," which he referred to as songs that everyone likes right away, are over, at least for now.

As reported in an article on Billboard, Drake's most recent album, "If You're Reading This It's Too Late," was a surprise release in February and reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The success came as no surprise though, considering his three previous albums were also chart toppers.

Baker also reported that Drake compared this next release to that of Kanye West's "808s & Heartbreak." He said that album was very divisive at the time and his next release should pose similar reactions from his fans, in hopes that it will catch on off course.

According to Vibe, the last time Drake teamed up with Beyonce was on the track "Mine," which was from her self-titled album. With the current collaboration, it appears as though she is returning the favor.

As reported by Business Insider, Drake has recently been in the headlines in regards to an onstage kiss with Madonna at Coachella, which he was also seen making a weird face afterwards that almost looked like disgust. Additionally, he said to the crowd, "What the f**k just happened?"

He later posted a response on his Instagram page and said, "Don't misinterpret my shock!! I got to make out with the queen Madonna and I feel 100 about that forever. Thank you @madonna," in reference to his shocking facial expressions after the kiss.
