If it is not Sylvester Stallone or Bruce Willis breathing new life into their old action film franchises, then rest assured it's Arnold Schwarzenegger, according to Comic Book.

The "Terminator: Genisys" and "Maggie" star has re-entered the Hollywood action film arena since his days at the Governor's mansion in California ended and he has undertaken several projects in the last few years.

The new "Conan" movie will be titled "The Legend of Conan" and will be a direct sequel to the original 1982 movie that made him famous. That basically skips over the 2011 remake that starred Jason Momoa and, dare we say, pretends it never existed.

The film's producer Chris Morgan recently sat down and answered a few questions for The Arnold Fans website.

They asked him if the sequel was going to be toned down, or even lighthearted, as compared to the original.

"A light-hearted Conan?! CROM! No. Our tone is a logical extension of the character established in the '82 film ... but 30 years later," Morgan said. "When we meet him again, Conan has been many things over the course of his life -- a thief, a warrior, a pirate, a king, a legend -- and is now an older man. Think 'Unforgiven' . . . with a sword-wielding barbarian."

When asked about the dark Cimmerian world of original writer John Milius and how he intends to portray it, Morgan said he intends to stay true to the vision.

"Milius was a visionary. And a hero of mine. He established a milieu that is stunning and violent and clear -- incomparable. The goal, the dream, is to live up to his world. To make it worthy. And to expand on it in a truthful way that audiences will embrace," Morgan said.

Schwarzenegger most recently revisited his "Terminator" franchise with "Salvation" and "Genisys," but the movie that gave him his breakout star status back in 1982 was "Conan the Barbarian," according to Los Angeles Times.
