John Stamos announced via Twitter on Friday, May 29 that Bob Saget would reprise his role as Danny Tanner in the "Full House" reboot "Fuller House" which will air on Netflix, Entertainment Tonight reports.

In addition to Saget and Stamos' return to the reunion show, Entertainment Tonight says that original cast members Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin will also reprise their characters on the show.

According to ET, Loughlin announced her return to "Fuller House" during a recent interview with "Good Morning America." Loughlin revealed that she was excited to be playing Aunt Becky again. She also revealed that her character would pop up "here and there" but would not be a permanent fixture throughout the series.

"I'm very excited. It's going to be really great to be back with the whole cast," Loughlin said. "It's going to be a lot of fun, and we're going to help Candace, Jodi and Andrea spin off the new show. ... We'll come back and do the first episode and then maybe throughout we'll pop up here and there."

And though most of the "Full House" cast will be appearing in "Fuller House," Stamos recently announced that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who both played Michelle Tanner on the show, decided not to be apart of the Netflix reboot.

"Full House" alum John Stamos took to Twitter and Facebook to express his disappointment over the Olsen sisters' decision to not return to the show, says Us Weekly. Stamos, who will be guest starring and producing the new "Fuller House" series, admitted that he was "heartbroken" over the news but wished the Olsen sisters "the best" in their fashion endeavors.

Just so you reporters know - this is not a money gig for any of us- quite the opposite - we want to give the fans what...

"Fuller House" will incorporate the same storyline as "Full House" with the original show's alum cast.

Candace Cameron Bure will reprise her role as D.J. Tanner-Fuller, who is a recently widowed mother that seeks help from her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and her best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) to help raise her boys.
