Apple's next-gen flagship device is still the favorite subject of numerous rumors and reports. The latest in the rumor mill says that the iPhone 6 will most likely come with a big screen and a super thin body.

Think iPad Air or rather, iPhone Air - as other reports have come to dub the next generation iPhone. The iPhone 6 will allegedly come in at 6mm in thickness, or should we say, thinness.

Measurements for the iPhone 5s is 7.6mm thick. Should the iPhone 6 truly be 6mm thin, the device will be a good 1.6 mm thinner from the current generation iPhone. It would also be half as thin as the iPhone 3G.

Apple is also reportedly joining the bandwagon when it comes to producing large-screened mobile devices. Its rival Samsung has been known for producing large-screen mobile devices with its flagship device currently measuring in at 5 inches.

Rumors are saying that Apple will also be producing an S4 counterpart. According to Macotakara, the tech giant is allegedly looking into a full HD resolution on top of the 5-inch screen size.

The current generation iPhone sports a 4-inch (diagonal) display with 1136 by 640 pixel resolution at 326 ppi. The alleged full HD display of the iPhone 6 will bump up pixel resolution to 1920 by 1080.

However, Expert Reviews thinks that Apple is less likely to upgrade to full HD from its current Retina display.

"Full HD doesn't do this from the existing iPhone or iPads. We think that Apple could quadruple the existing iPhone 5S's screen resolution, giving an iPhone 6 with a resolution of 2,272x1,280 instead," the report read.

Other rumored specs for the iPhone 6 include tougher sapphire-screens for the handset and a refocusable lightfield camera. Apple has already made use of sapphire glass for its TouchID technology and the company has also already been granted patent for a lightfield camera.
