The Los Angeles Lakers failed to make a big splash in free agency this summer, but superstar guard Kobe Bryant believes they made moves that are enough for them to end their two-year playoff drought.

Bryant, who will be entering his 20th season in the NBA, has no doubt in mind that they are capable of making it into the playoffs in the upcoming 2015-16 NBA season.

The 36-year-old superstar said in an interview with Yahoo Sports that they have enough talent in every position, which they should take advantage of and develop in training camp.

"Of course it can. Absolutely," Bryant said, when asked if they can advance to the postseason. "We have talented players in their respective positions. We have some really young players. How exactly will the pieces of the puzzle fit? We really don't know. We are going to camp trying to piece this together just like every other team does."

The Lakers missed the playoffs for the second consecutive year last season after finishing with a franchise-worst 21-61 record, which was also the fourth-worst record in the league last season.

Lakers executives tried to convince big-name free agents like LaMarcus Aldridge to move to Los Angeles this offseason, but they failed in their bid to land a top talent from the free-agency market.

In turn, the Lakers struck a trade deal with the Indiana Pacers to acquire projected starting center Roy Hibbert, and also signed free agents like Brandon Bass and Lou Williams. Bryant is also high on the potential of their young prospects like Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson and D'Angelo Russell, who was picked second in the 2015 NBA Draft.

"They have really set themselves up for a promising future going on years," Bryant said of the state of the Lakers franchise. "I think they drafted very well. The free agents that we picked are extremely solid, Hibbert, Bass, Lou. We have a very good mix of young and veteran leadership. The challenge is going to be blending the two."

Bryant admitted that he is excited to work with their young players, particularly Clarkson, who had an impressive rookie season in Los Angeles.

"Clarkson got valuable experience last year in playing that will benefit us tremendously," Bryant said of the former second-round pick, who averaged 11.9 points on top of 3.5 assists and 3.2 rebounds as a rookie last season. "I'm looking forward to it. I'm looking forward to running with these young guns."
