Host Mexico, Argentina and Canada will try to extend their respective winning streaks on Day 6 of the 2015 FIBA Americas Championship on Monday in Mexico City.

On the other hand, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, who were defeated in their respective matches on Sunday, will look to keep their semifinals hopes alive. Here is a breakdown of Monday's schedule.

Panama vs. Argentina, 1 p.m. ET

Argentina will go up against Panama in the opening game of the day at Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City.

Argentina, who swept all four preliminary round assignments, began their second-round campaign with a hard-earned 90-87 win against Uruguay on Sunday.

Luis Scola carried his team on his shoulders again as he finished with 26 points on 62.5 percent shooting from the field to go along with 13 rebounds and two blocks. Fellow veteran Andres Nocioni collected 22 points and eight boards for the Argentine squad.

Puerto Rico vs. Dominican Republic, 3:30 p.m. ET

Puerto Rico will look to keep their hopes of qualifying to the 2016 Rio Olympics alive, when they go up against Dominican Republic in the second game of the day.

Dominican Republic are currently fourth in the race with their 2-2 card, while Puerto Rico is currently seventh with their 0-4 card. Puerto Rico's lone win in the first round was cancelled out because Cuba were eliminated.

Canada vs. Uruguay, 7 p.m. ET

Canada dropped their tournament opener against Argentina, but they remained unscathed since then. On Monday, the Andrew Wiggins-led squad will try to extend their winning streak when they face Uruguay.

Canada opened their second-round campaign with a lopsided 103-66 win against Panama. Brady Heslip scored a team-high 23 points, while Wiggins posted 17 points on 6-for-7 shooting from the field.

Uruguay, on the other hand, will fight for their lives as they are currently at the cellar of the standings after taking the close defeat to Argentina on Sunday.

Mexico vs. Venezuela, 9:30 p.m. ET

Mexico will resume their title defense against Venezuela, where they will put their perfect record on the line.

After sweeping their Group A matches, Mexico started the second round with a hard-earned 92-86 victory against Puerto Rico. Hector Hernandez led Mexico with 28 points and 12 rebounds, while Jorge Gutierrez posted 15 points on top of nine assists and six rebounds.
