Rocksteady, the creators of the Batman: Arkham video game series, has announced that Batman: Arkham Knight will be released soon. This is the latest version in the series and will be available on Xbox One, PC and PS4 towards the end of 2014. Batman: Arkham Knight was already revealed in GAME's website list of upcoming games and was formally announced in the March 4 issue of Game Informer.

Based on the description of the game, it is supposed to be the "explosive finale" to the Arkham series. The super villains are expected to come back strong in this series. The villains include Two-Face, Harley Quinn, and Penguin, who vowed to destroy the Dark Knight forever. However, the Knight swears to protect the city from all threats.

For their latest version, Rocksteady will release a unique version of the Batmobile. The addition of this vehicle along with the exciting gameplay of the series makes the new version even more exciting. Rocksteady promises to offer the gamers a complete Batman experience meaning the battle across the streets and skyline of Gotham City will be something to look forward to. For those who do a pre-order of the game, there will be a bonus that will allow players to be Harley Quinn and play in four exclusive Challenge Maps which will allow players to have access to unique abilities and weapons.

The Arkham series debuted in 2009 with Batman: Arkham Asylum. It became an instant hit, which prompted Rocksteady to release more versions of the game. This time, the focus is more on driving the Batmobile for the first time. Based on the trailer for the game, players can expect more exciting challenges and more difficult battles. Since this is going to be the last installation in the series, gamers should get ready to be impressed.
