Christina Aguilera has announced she will be returning as a judge for Season 10 of "The Voice."

The 34-year-old "Come On Over" singer, who was one of the reality singing competition's original judges alongside Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and CeeLo Green, has decided to come back, according to Entertainment Weekly.

After serving as a judge for the show's first three seasons, Aguilera took a break, and then returned for the fifth and eighth seasons, before taking another break in Season 9. Her last hiatus was mostly due to the singer's need for some time off to spend with her newborn daughter Summer Rain, whom she had with her fiancé Matt Rutler in August 2014.

For the tenth season of the program Aguilera will replace current judge Gwen Stefani. She will join Levine and Shelton, who have both served as judges since the first season, as well as Pharrell Williams, who's been a judge since Season 7. In addition to Stefani, Shakira has also filled Aguilera's judging spot on the show.

"The coaches on 'The Voice' continue to bring incredible energy, unrivaled musical expertise and a want-to-win attitude that makes for the perfect ingredients of a two-time Emmy-winning show," president of late night and alternative programming at NBC Entertainment Paul Telegdy said in a statement. "We can't wait to see what season 10 will bring."

No premiere date has been announced yet for the tenth season, but it will be sometime in February.

Meanwhile, Aguilera stopped by the "Today Show" on Wednesday to talk about the new album she has in the works.

"I've been loosely working and sort of accumulating ideas of what my next album will be over the last couple of years," she said. "I'm excited for my fans to finally be getting something from me; it's been a while."

The current season of "The Voice" airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
