Demi Lovato's producers are denying the singer sampled two Sleigh Bells songs for her bonus track "Stars."

"We did not use any samples in Demi Lovato's song 'Stars.' Demi was also not involved with the production," producer Carl Falk and Rami Yacoub said through Lovato's reps, according to Rolling Stone. "She only wrote top line."

Sleigh Bells wrote to Lovato on Twitter Monday charging the pop star sampled their work without contacting them first.

"Flattered you guys sampled 'Infinity Guitars' and 'Riot Rhythm' for 'Stars' but we were not contacted," Sleigh Bells tweeted. "Gotta clear those."

Despite claims by producers denying they used the samples, Sleigh Bells are not accepting their statement. However, after Rolling Stone asked for specific instances of sampling, the duo did not specifically point out what elements from the two songs in question were used in Lovato's "Stars."

Lovato herself has not commented on the allegations.

"I can confirm that the band feels their music has been sampled without proper clearance and are seeking all available remedies with [Lovato's record label] Island Records," the group's rep told Rolling Stone.

Lovato's song features a vibrant chorus with a mixture of keyboards and generic pop music. Sleigh Bells' "Infinity Guitars" includes a hand-clap rhythm, which sounds a bit similar to sections in "Stars." The drumbeats in "Riot Rhythm" also sound alike to parts in Lovato's track.

"Stars" is included on the deluxe edition of Lovato's latest album, "Confident."

Lovato released "Confident," her fifth studio album, on Oct. 16. The album has produced the singles "Cool for the Summer" and the title track. It is her follow-up album to 2013's "Demi."

The singer will be heading out on a joint North American tour with Nick Jonas next summer to promote her latest album.

Sleigh Bells released their last album, "Bitter Rivals," in 2013.
