A 12-year-old girl from Sydney, who has been diagnosed with bilateral inner-ear loss, has a single wish: to meet Taylor Swift before she goes deaf.

The pop star has influenced many young lives, including Jorja Hope, a young girl who was recently told by doctors her condition has worsened and that she will eventually go deaf, according to E! News.

After receiving the bad news from the doctors, the girl said, "I won't be able to hear Taylor Swift sing."

In an attempt to help Hope meet Swift before she loses her hearing, Hope's twin sister Chloe started a Facebook page called "Help Jorja Meet Taylor Swift in Sydney 2015." Chloe Hope's intention was to raise awareness for her sister's goal and possibly catch Swift's attention. As of this moment, the page has just over 2,500 likes.

"My inspiration, my sister is going deaf and her one wish is to meet Taylor swift in Sydney 2015," Chloe Hope wrote on the page. "Let's get this viral so Taylor swift notices! Love Chloe."

The girls' mother Mel Hope spoke about the moment her daughter found out her hearing would deteriorate completely, saying the girl was sad at first, but then decided to look on the bright side.

"The thing about Jorja, she takes everything in stride," Mel Hope, 34, told Refinery29. "When she found out the hearing loss was going to be permanent, she didn't understand what the specialist was saying. We were riding in the car when I told her. She went quiet, and she had tears in her eyes. She said, 'I won't be able to hear Taylor Swift sing.' We had a laugh about it. And then the next day, she said, 'Life goes on.'"

Swift's reps have not responded to the Hope sisters' campaign yet.
