Prepare your Kleenex on Thanksgiving as "The Good Dinosaur" will have you cry buckets of tears during the holiday.

According to MTV, the new Disney Pixar animated film will touch every imaginable string of your heart as it tackles the unending love and understanding of a father to his son and it will definitely not leave one eye dry.

The story's plot revolves around the story of Arlo, an apotosaurus who gets lost while he is on a journey with his father and then finds himself into an unknown land. There, he meets a little boy acting like a dog named Spot. Together, they continue a journey that will foster the adolescent dinosaur into becoming a mighty reptile.

While the story has been mostly about Arlo and Spot, the main essence of the story has been about Arlo and his father, Poppa, who has been very supportive and trustful of his young son even though he is the runt in the family.

Arlo's siblings, Libby and Buck, are the more favored ones because they have built their name in the family farm, while the little dino protagonist portrays a weak and underdog role. But, despite it all, Poppa never gives up on his little son.

Jeffrey Wright, who voices as Poppa in the animated film, feels the same thing for his character and said that as a father, he felt that Poppa is a very patient kind of dad.

"Not only with Arlo, but also with himself. He recognized that his son had certain limitations, and also strengths, but he as well had limitations," Wright told the publication. "It's a lesson that parents learn and relearn repeatedly with their children, knowing how to get the best out of them without overdoing it and imposing their own expectations."

Unfortunately, Poppa dies early in the movie as he protected Arlo from a terrible storm. Just like Simba from "Lion King," Arlo has to learn everything on his own so he can make Poppa proud.

Despite the emotional plot, one thing that has become a disappointment for the film is it appeared to be a rip-off from other movies.

Vox said that the plot is a hybrid of "The Lion King," "The Flintstones," "ET," "Jungle Book" and "every other Pixar movie" that has been made.

On the bright side, aside from the film's heart-wrenching story, one thing to be anticipated from "The Good Dinosaur" is its visually appealing production. Arguably, the publication said it can be the "most beautiful film" that Pixar has ever made.

"The Good Dinosaur" also features voices of Frances McDormand, Steve Zahn and Anna Paquin. The film hit theaters yesterday, Nov. 25.
