Pop singer Shawn Mendes knows what his fans like and that includes new music and plenty of crush-worthy Instagram photos.

The 17-year-old singer has been counting down the days until the release of his new single called "Treat You Better."

The single will be the first single off of his sophomore album, which Mendes has teased on social media since January.

The "Stitches" singer, an avid social media user, also shared photos from his down time with friends and shared a few shirtless pictures for the amusement of his legion of teenage female fans.

Since hitting the music scene, Mendes, who got his career started on YouTube and Vine, has seen a lot success thanks to hits like "Stitches" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer," which features Fifth Harmony's Camila Cabello.

In 2015, he played Radio City Music Hall, headlined his own tour and served as an opening act on Taylor Swift's "1989 World Tour."

Mendes has also won several awards including a People's Choice Award, Teen Choice Award and MTV Europe Music Award.
