Chicago Bulls guard Mike Dunleavy Jr. says hello to a Lincoln Park Home.

Dunleavy Jr., the 35-year-old NBA athlete, paid $3.85 million for a North Chicago house, reported Chicago Tribune. Richard Kasper of Conlon: A Real Estate Company handled its listing, noted Realtor.com.

The listing describes the single family home as "magnificent" with a "limestone facade on [a] prestigious" street block.

Now, the Forth Worth, Texas native is the proud owner of a 6,234-square-foot home, which displays six bedrooms, five full bathrooms and three half baths. Other living areas in the said residence include a living room, dining room, family room, roof deck, terrace, recreation room, wet bar, wine room, laundry room, utility room and an eat-in kitchen.

The basketball player will not have a hard time furnishing the place, especially the kitchen that comes with various appliances. The cooking station is already equipped with stainless steel appliances like a double oven, range, microwave, dishwasher, high-end refrigerator, freezer and wine cooler.

Dunleavy Jr. will enjoy resting in his master bedroom equipped with a his-and-hers closet and a marble-lined bathroom with double vanities and steam shower. He can also relax while in the terrace and take in views of the city.

The interiors showcase floors lined with ceramic tile or hardwood floors, soaring ceilings and skylights.

Still not able to play

In September, the Bulls released an official statement regarding Dunleavy Jr.'s back injury, noted NBA.comThe statement reads:

"Bulls forward Mike Dunleavy successfully underwent a low back microdiscectomy procedure earlier today at Rush University Medical Center. Dunleavy had experienced some occasional back discomfort over the summer which had recently worsened. Conservative measures failed to satisfactorily resolve his symptoms, therefore, the decision was made to perform the surgery. The timing is unfortunate, but it was imperative that all conservative measures were exhausted prior to making this decision. He is expected to be out 8-10 weeks."

Thus, he is expected to be back by Nov. 20 or Dec. 4, Vincent Goodwill of CSN noted via a Twitter post.

However, Yahoo! Sports informed that there would be a delay in his return as the veteran NBA guard experienced a setback in his recovery following a back surgery.

Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg shared that his player would be off-court and would focus on strengthening his back muscles for a couple of weeks.

Dunleavy Jr. reportedly delivered an average of 9.4 points and posted 40.7 percent from the 3-point range last season.
