When developer CD Projekt Red made a presentation of "Cyberpunk 2077" in Warsaw, Poland in October 2012, they had all the intention of discussing every bit of the game, which, at that time, was slated to be released in 2017. However, time may have changed the development as CD Projekt Red aims to launch "Cyberpunk 2077" by the end of 2016, GameSpot reports.

GameReactor first reported the apparent launching of the game despite the developer not releasing any official statement about it. "Cyberpunk 2077" is currently developed for the PC platform, but chances of it getting to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is very possible. According to the source, the game may also be an exclusive on either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One as both displayed their interest in obtaining the game.

In a recent report by GameSpot, the developer CD Projekt Red admitted to be focusing on the "Cyberpunk 2077" game and also revealed that most of their staff has been contributing on its development.

Lead quest designer Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz said, "We are focusing on 'Cyberpunk 2077.' It is a very ambitious and big project and we need all the people we can get to finish it. Most people from the company are involved in this."

This shouldn't come as a surprise since the developer also said that "Cyberpunk 2077" is a much bigger project than "The Witcher 3."

Despite little information about the game, the studio's joint CEO Adam Kicinski implied that the game is even bigger than what the developer actually envisions. "Cyberpunk 2077" plays the dark future of the year 2077, where modern technology displays its power on humanity as their means of salvation as well as their own curse. The setting of the game lies in the metropolis of the Night City.

CD Projekt Red is also currently concentrating on "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" while also working on the development of "Cyberpunk 2077." They also recently launched their digital distribution hub under GOG.com website. The website currently contains 50 games since its launching. The games include "The Witcher 2: Assassin's of Kings Enhanced Edition," "Faster than Light" and "SimCity 2000." Players can try accessing the website through Mac and PC platforms.
