The "Shin Megami Tensei" has been all about demolishing the thriving city of Tokyo, but if you are one of the fans of the said game, you might be a bit disappointed by the way Tokyo was destroyed as it was never shown in detail.

Well, fans can now see how the city is destroyed in the latest trailer of "Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final" for the Nintendo 3DS JRPG. The trailer made a few but notable revelations like the emergence of a new protagonist after the fall of Tokyo.

The protagonist, known to have the green-hued character, is said to be the primary antihero in "Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final." During the initial announcement of Megami Tensei, the green-hued protagonist has actually been the center of the revelation and it becomes more interesting as Atlus shows more details about the character.

According to TechnoBuffalo, "Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final" faces one of the longest lines of competition in Japanese role-playing game industry, and while it may seem at a disadvantage because it is made available on the Nintendo 3DS, its developer Atlus is one of the best in this line and the game itself has made a name from its original title.

Fans who have been waiting for the rest of the "Megami Tensei" series can now have their chance to take a look of what's being offered by Atlus. The one and half minute trailer basically sums up how Tokyo was destroyed in the year 203X.

The synopsis of the game read: "The year 203X. The gods' war devastated and transformed near-future Tokyo into a demon capital. As the battle between Lucifer and Merkabahentered its final phase, the demon Krishna appeared. Spearheading the "Polytheistic Gods Alliance," Krishna declared war on Lucifer, Merkabah, and the monotheistic gods. Mankind gets embroiled in a terrible new war. When a young boy is made a "god killer" by the power of the demon Daguza, what path will he choose?"

"Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final" will be released in Japan by Feb. 10 and it will be available on the Nintendo 3DS platform. Players in Northern America may have to wait a bit more as there has been no confirmation on its date of release. The rate of Nintendo 3DS users may not be as phenomenal as the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles, but the title itself may find its way on top of the market.
