How you take this video depends on how much you like -- or hate -- Anne Hathaway. Lately, she's been getting on everyone's nerves, whether through any fault of her own or not.

But on Tuesday night's edition Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show, the Oscar-winning actress took a page from an old Saturday Night Live skit called "Marty & Bobbie Culp":

...and performed "Broadway" versions of popular rap songs with Jimmy Fallon (himself an alumnus of the not quite ready for primetime players...perhaps that's where they got the idea?).

"Ladies and gentleman, forget everything you know about rap music," said The Tonight Show announcer. "Here to perform broadway versions of hip hop songs, please welcome Anne Hathaway."

As Jimmy pretended to play the piano, the two belted out a jazzy cover of Snoop Dogg's "Gin & Juice", 50 Cent's "In Da Club" and Kendrick Lamar's "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe" (the latter of which Anne belted out with all the white-girl soul she could muster).

Of course, Anne is pretty cognizant of the people who, for whatever reason, hate her guts (yeah, her Oscar speech was pretty pretentious, but I don't think it was meant to be -- the girl's been through a lot, give her a break). During her medley, she gave "props" to her detractors, whom she referred to as "The Hatha-Haters."

But Anne didn't randomly come to The Tonight Show to promote her stellar singing skills: she's the voice of one of the birds (keep the snark to yourself, folks) in Rio 2, and she's also filming the Christopher Nolan-directed Interstellar.

In 2004, Hathaway began a romantic relationship with Italian real estate developer Raffaello Follieri, during which she participated in the development of the charitable Follieri Foundation, as a donor and as a member of its board of directors until 2007. The Manhattan-based foundation, established in 2003, focused on efforts such as providing vaccinations for children in Third World countries. In June 2008, it was investigated by the IRS, for failure to file required nonprofit information forms. Citing concern that this investigation and other legal issues in which Follieri was involved could hurt her acting career, Hathaway ended their relationship in mid-June, 2008.
