Chris Brown is being investigated for a new case of battery against a woman known as Liziane Gutierrez. It was reported that the woman sought the help of the police after she was punched in the face by the singer.

Gutierrez recounted to TMZ how she was allegedly assaulted by Brown. She said that, on early Saturday morning, she went to the private party being held in Brown's suite at the Palms Hotel. The Brazilian model, which was how Fox News Latino identified her, said that she was able to sneak in her mobile phone inside the suite after the security failed to see it. When she tried to take a photo of Brown, the singer got mad, took her cellphone and punched her right eye.

She went to the police to report the incident and the authorities are now considering the "Don't Judge Me" singer as the suspect in the case filed by Gutierrez.

The Las Vegas police issued a press release about the case and USA Today published some excerpts from it: "A crime report has been taken for misdemeanor theft and misdemeanor battery listing Mr. Brown as a suspect. The woman appeared to have minor injuries sustained as a result of a battery."

The singer's camp responded to the accusations by releasing a statement through its publicist Nicole Perna. Below is the full statement that belied the claims of the model:

"Making false accusations seems to be a pattern of behavior for Ms. Gutierrez. Whatever her motives, her statements are unequivocally untrue.

Ms. Gutierrez was escorted out of the private after party at the Palms Casino Resort for being disruptive and out of control. Once she was in the hallway, while waiting for Chris Brown's security to bring out her phone, she had a total meltdown-throwing her purse to the ground and claiming that she 'could buy everyone in the hotel' -- as witnessed by numerous people waiting to get into the party. The Palms Casino Resort security also saw her wild behavior via hotel security cameras and immediately came up to the hallway to escort her out of the hotel."

Lastly, Perna told Gossip Cop, "Her claim that she had her phone in her possession inside the after party and was able to take a photo causing an altercation with Chris Brown is a complete fabrication."

#Chrisbrownofficial also personally responded to the issue by writing on his Instagram: "Keeping my circle small in 2016! I'm done taking the care of grown ass men. And I'm going to be hella rich after all the lawsuits I file from these crazy individuals who keep lying on my name. Happy NEW YEAR! Time for some of us to grow the fuck up!"
