The country crooners of "Nashville" will be hosting an extra-special guest this May.

First Lady Michelle Obama will appear on the May 7 episode of the series, ABC confirmed Friday.

TVLine reports that the first lady will attend a charity concert that Raya (Connie Britton) organizes at Fort Campbell after Luke (Will Chase) is injured in Afghanistan and has to cut his tour short.

Country star and "American Idol" alum Kellie Pickler will also appear in the star-studded episode.

On the latest episode of the series before its brief hiatus, a big secret was disclosed to the public.

In "Crazy," Luke is not happy to find out that Deacon (Chip Esten) is Madde's (Lennon Stella) father. Maddie's news breaks on "The View," and news cameras and journalists flock to her school.

Rayna and Teddy (Eric Close) want to give a press conference about the news, but Deacon is nowhere to be found. Luke and Rayna head over to Deacon's, and find out that Deacon didn't know Maddie revealed that he's her biological father.

Later, Maddie admits to her sister that she shouldn't have said she was Deacon's daughter in her online video.

Meanwhile, Juliette's (Hayden Panettiere) new single is not getting any radio play, so she goes to her old flame, Charlie, for some help. He agrees to boost her new album, but he makes it clear that he wants something in return.

Later, Scarlett's (Clare Bowen) mom pays her daughter a surprise visit. Scarlett isn't too happy to see her, considering her mother is jealous and abusive.

Scarlett plays "Black Roses," a song that is clearly about her rocky relationship with her mother, and dedicates it to her mom. Afterwards, her mom yells that she provided her food and shelter, and starts choking her. Scarlett then has a flashback of being locked in a closet as a child.

Later, Charlie shows up at Juliette's concert and tells Avery (Jonathan Jackson) that Juliette is out of his league, but Avery says he can't buy Juliette's affection.

Scarlett begins to lose control, and tosses back liquor and pills before she goes onstage. Once she's on stage, Scarlett has a complete meltdown and hides under the piano, just as she used to hide under the table from her mother as a child.

Then at a press conference on "Good Morning America," Deacon reveals that Maddie is his daughter, and that Teddy raised her because of his drinking problems.

On the next episode, "On the Record," "Cast members perform songs from the show and songwriters discuss the writing process."
