The WWE's final "SmackDown" before this Sunday's "Royal Rumble" completed its taping with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns in the main event.

The show first opened with Chris Jericho discussing the Royal Rumble match. WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day interrupt and reminisce about their trombone that Jericho broke. The segment eventually leads to The New Day vs. The Usos and Dolph Ziggler.

The New Day lost to The Usos and Ziggler after Xavier Woods are a triple superkick.

The divas were next with WWE Divas Champion Charlotte at ringside. Becky Lynch continued building momentum as she defeated Alicia Fox.

It was time for another in-ring promo segment with MizTV with The Miz. His guests were Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose and his "Royal Rumble" opponent Kevin Owens. After discussing their Last Man Standing match, Ambrose and Owens, respectively, hit their finishing moves on The Miz.

In singles competition, Bray Wyatt defeated Ryback. Later, Titus O'Neil defeated Stardust.

In the main event, Reigns won his handicap match against the League of Nations' Alberto Del Rio, King Barrett, Rusev and Sheamus via disqualification. After the match, The Usos reappeared to help even the numbers against the League of Nations. However, The Wyatt Family gathered to attack everyone else -- similar to last "Monday Night Raw's" ending -- to conclude the show.

Meanwhile, WWE revealed footage from the taping, featuring the birthday celebrating for R-Truth. The birthday footage will not air on Thursday.

"WWE SmackDown" airs weekly on Thursdays on the USA Network at 8 p.m. EST.

The "Royal Rumble" pay per view airs this Sunday with the actual 30-man Royal Rumble match main event for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Latin Post will post its "Royal Rumble" predictions at 12 p.m. EST on Sunday.
