Did Chris Perez perform at one of Jennifer Lopez's shows during the first week of her Las Vegas residency?

Previously, Perez told fans that he would be joining the artist in a show last week, but later backtracked that he won't do so after all.

Despite this, as per Latin Times, his followers and fans of his late wife were hoping that he may just pull off a pleasant surprise. However, based on a photo he shared regarding his Las Vegas trip, he was good on his word.

Selena Quintanilla's widowed husband recently posted photo evidence that he was indeed in Sin City -- at least after the singer's Friday, January 22 performance. He had apparently just visited Lopez and stayed at the club in the wee hours of the morning at the afterparty.

The snap, tinged in green and uploaded on his official Facebook account, came with the following caption: "Rock N Roll...give it up for Jen. Gotta love her. Haters will be deleted."

One of the subsequent comments to this particular post wondered how there could be haters. Perez then replied by saying that he had been "deleting/banning i***** all morning."

Despite not appearing in the Friday show, there is still hope that he and the Los Dinos may share the stage with Lopez at one point as guest performers.

Perez's next posts after the update about Lopez was about his stay in Las Vegas, where he had accidentally stepped on a cold burger after getting out of bed in his hotel room. Based on his last Facebook post, it appears Perez had returned to Texas at around late Sunday.

Could it be possible that he had another meet-up with Lopez after her Saturday performance? Did they get enough time to discuss his possible appearance in one of her shows?

The anticipation of the Perez guest appearance was connected to the celebrated turn the widower had, along with the original Los Dinos, with Lopez during her Selena tribute performance at last year's Billboard Latin Music Awards. Selena's greatest hits -- "Como La Flor," "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom," "Amor Prohibido," "I Could Fall In Love" and "No Me Queda Mas" -- got the J.Lo treatment, albeit with the backing of the slain singer's siblings, A.B. Quintanilla and Suzette Quintanilla-Arriaga, aside from Perez, as per E! News.

Then, about a week ago, Perez said on Facebook that he was to "get ready for J.Lo's residency in Vegas this Friday," which led fans to assume he was to perform with Lopez again and got the rumor mill grinding over whether he will eventually guest perform in Las Vegas.
