Angela "Big Ang" Raiola is not in pink of health right now. While she just threw a party to celebrate her 55th birthday and for being cancer-free in the episode 4 of "Mob Wives" season 6, it appears that her illness was not gone for long as she was recently diagnosed with even worst condition -- stage 4 of brain and lung cancer.

In 2015, she found out she had throat cancer. After a series of treatments, she was cleared of the deadly tumor. However, her clean bill of health was tarnished when her cancer recurred so quickly. Her tumors also spread and they are in the advanced stage now.

With her current health status, Big Ang is fighting for her life and what makes things harder is the fact that the chemotherapy treatment is no longer working on her. Thus, her family is very worried, Staten Island Live reported.

The media outlet added that Big Ang was brought to the emergency room because of labored breathing. When the doctors assessed her CT scan, they saw that instead of shrinking, her tumors grew while the others did not change in size.

The family wants to resort to alternative treatment since the chemo has no effect. In this regard, since they will be needing money, Big Ang's younger sister Janine Detore, set up a GoFundMe page entitled "The Big Battle."

From the post on the crowdfunding page, Detore revealed that Big Ang started the chemotherapy treatment on Jan. 5 and the doctors told them on Jan. 26 that the treatment did not work and the tumors are growing.

"We were advised that she would start immunotherapy the following week. Well here we are at the emergency room waiting to see why her breathing is labored and the amount of pain she is having is by far more than she could handle," she said on her post.

Detore further said that she suggested using cannabis oil as an alternative medication for her sister and this is the reason why she decided to ask for help. "I am putting up this go fund me to try to help my sister to get this oil to help her at least be pain free."

Moreover, Big Ang's sister disclosed that the "Mob Wives" main cast member is almost bedridden and "cannot function to work anymore." But even so, Detore shared that they are praying that the treatment will work and appealed to everyone to help Angela fight the biggest battle in her life. Two days after setting up the go fund me, the pledges already exceeded the targeted $25,000. The amount now totaled to $29,690.

The "Mob Wives" cast also updated fans about Big Ang's health. Karen called Angela's condition as a "war for her life." Nonetheless, when the mob ladies talk about their co-star, everyone is serious and there was no trace of unfriendliness at all. Everyone is being positive, in fact, they said that they are already laying out plans for their next trip.
