NECA director Randy Falk implied in an interview that they are looking at collaborating with some of Sony's titles. Falk also said that Sony is working on bringing back "Crash Bandicoot." According to Attack of the Fan Boy, Falk's statement pretty much says what's in store for Sony's upcoming titles.

It's easy to believe that Sony is bringing back "Crash Bandicoot" after PlayStation Middle East implied the game's comeback via a social media teaser. If you're still wondering the reliability of Falk's statement, you can say that NECA's partnership with Sony has made an impact when it comes to game title leaks. After all, NECA has been responsible in creating toys for Sony's recent successful games such as "God of War" and "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End."

During the NECA Toys Product Walkthrough at Toy Fair 2016, Falk said in an interview, "Looking at some of their titles, they're looking at bringing Crash Bandicoot back, which is really cool."

However, in a recent report by Gematsu, a representative from NECA denied any of the rumors about the "Crash Bandicoot," saying that Falk's interview has apparently been misunderstood.

NECA's representative said in a statement, "It's not the case, someone has misunderstood a comment he made. Randy saw a faked fan-made image right before he came to the show and said that if the game were coming back, we'd love to do figures."

Despite contradicting what was obviously implied in the interview, Gematsu has also found several reasons why the "Crash Bandicoot" should be one of Sony's next titles.

NeoGaf and one of its trusted members gave some subtle information on the upcoming "Crash Bandicoot." This indication may shed some light on Sony's role in the game. As already mentioned, PlayStation Middle East has released some teaser of the game for Sony on some social media sites. Although it may not mean anything, the fact that Sony CEO Shaw Layden wore a "Crash Bandicoot" shirt at the PlayStation Experience in December 2015 might imply something.

When Robomod was asked on Twitter whether "Crash Bandicoot" will be any part of Activision's games, the company replied after some series of Twitter exchange saying ,"I think it's a combo or timing and rights, it wasn't much of a discussion. A lot of character ideas were thrown around."

Do you think "Crash Bandicoot" is actually coming? What do you think of the game leaving Activision for Sony?
