Uh-oh! It seems that Meri Brown might be ditching "Sister Wives" Season 7. The reality star reportedly dropped several hints on Twitter about her impending departure from the TLC reality show.

Despite the scarcity of the upcoming season's spoilers and updates, the Browns have continued to make headlines. The infamous polygamous clan were constantly hounded with rumors and speculations about what's really happening in their household. Many have noted the unhappiness among Kody Brown's other wives: Meri, Janelle, Christine and current legal wife Robyn.

"Behind closed doors it's miserable," an insider revealed. "There's a ton of tension and no one is happy."

Meri Brown's Tweets

Meri Brown have already admitted her "unhappiness" in the previous seasons of their family's reality show, "Sister Wives." Her "feelings of abandonment" also got her involved in a controversial catfishing scandal last season. But now, it appears that Meri is finally ready to leave her family and the show.

"'Freedom is not the ability to do what we want, it's having the right to do what we ought.' - Jim Caviezel," she tweeted. She also posted several picture quotes insinuating her probable exit.

While "Sister Wives" Season 7 fans might be disappointed with Meri's departure, reports claimed that she already announced her plans of leaving during a family dinner. This was seen in the last official episode of the show.

"Don't be surprised if one day you find me gone," Meri reportedly told the TLC cameras and her sister wives.

An insider also confirmed Meri's sentiments regarding the issue.

"She did not want to be there anymore," a source said. "That she loved the kids but the marriage was done and she was not wanting to fix it. She said the second sister wife [Janelle] was shocked."

United Front

In spite of the issues, the Browns have maintained a united front, especially during the birth of Kody and Robyn's daughter, Ariella, last month. Unfortunately, there have also been rumors that "Sister Wives" Season 7 will only revolve around the couple and their family.

"It's just Kody and Robyn who are truly together at this point," an insider stated. "The upcoming season will focus on Kody, Robyn and Ariella. That will allow for Janelle and Meri to slowly begin their exit."

Utah's Bigamy Bill

In other news, Utah legislators have recently passed the bigamy bill, which was incited by the "Sister Wives" stars. While the committee chose to approve HB281, they made a significant revision and reduced its penalties.

In addition, the bill would make bigamy a "Class A" misdemeanor and will be punishable by up to a year of imprisonment, instead of its previous penalty of up to five years jail time.

Meanwhile, Meri and her other sister wives have not yet confirmed nor denied their impending departure from "Sister Wives" Season 7. In fact, the cast is reportedly filming and new episodes are expected to air sometime this year. For free online stream link, click here.
