The Los Angeles Lakers are 13 games away from ending their season and most of the attention was on how to rebuild (again) for next season.

Until recently, much of the issues tied up with the Lakers was on Byron Scott and his fate as head coach. But with the latest harassment charges hurled at Nick Young and Jordan Clarkson, all that takes a back seat.

The Incident According to Alexis Jones

Per reports, Alexis Jones and her 68-year-old mother claim that they were Sunday night at the intersection of La Brea and Melrose avenue at around 7:30 p.m. Jones claims that a jeep carrying four men pulled alongside of them and started making vulgar and sexual gestured towards her mother.

"We were in a small car, and they were in a big Jeep, and it was a bunch of big dudes. They're leaning out of the car and making vulgar, sexual gestures. My mom was really shocked. That immediately turned into sobbing," said Jones who is an activist fighting to stop athletes from committing sexual harassment, sexual abuse and domestic violence.

Backing up her claim were photos of the four guys in the jeep which she was apparently unfamiliar with. She posted the photos on her Instagram account where commenting individuals identified two of them as Nick Young and Jordan Clarkson.

Harassment Claim Being Taken Seriously by Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers through spokesman John Black are already looking into the matter and accusations, taking this issue seriously. Black apologized on behalf of the Lakers and even invited Jones to speak to both Clarkson and Young personally Monday.

Jones was unable to accept the invite but instead requested if she could possibly talk to the two players via call. That was unfortunately declined.

Head coach Byron Scott is already aware of the issue and has already reportedly addressed the problem with the two players involved.

Nick Young Denies Harassing Two Women

The latest on this issue is Nick Young coming out in the open to deny the harassment claim involving him and Clarkson.

“Aye if you want some attention take a pic of me and say anything next to it and post… The world we live in," said Young via Twitter before eventually taking it down.

The reason behind that is to avoid adding harm to the said issue.

“We take the allegation seriously and are continuing to look into it. Until we get all the facts from all the parties involved, it’s not appropriate for us to comment,” said Black.

If the Instagram photos are a basis, it does not indeed show either player making obscene gestures.
