Demi Lovato is around a lot of Latinos these days as the pop star is in the Mexican and South American leg of her Neon Lights tour until the middle of this month. Surely she'll encounter a hunk during that time, but is Lovato interested in Latino men?

In the latest issue of Cosmopolitan for Latinas, Lovato revealed that she doesn't "really have a type."

"I don't think that you fall in love with someone for their clothes or their style," she explained. "For me, it's about the person."

What about her Latino brothers, do they get any bonus points? Lovato's late father was of Mexican and Spanish descent, don't you know.

"I have [dated Latinos], but it's not important to me -- I don't have a nationality preference," Lovato told the magazine.

The "Heart Attack" singer also talked about mainstream music's longstanding tradition of incorporating sex into songs.

"Sex is a part of life, and it's a personal decision," she said. "Some people put it in their music, which is awesome and good for them."

The 21-year-old tries to avoid doing this, however. She explained that although she is "not against it," she just can't shake the awkwardness.

"But for me, there's still that weird feeling in the back of my head that's like, 'All right, I know that my mom and dad are going to hear it and my little sister, and that's really weird for me,'" she said. "But if I feel like expressing myself in that kind of way, then I'll be like, 'Alright, guys -- look the other way!'"

Perhaps Lovato will end up "expressing" her sexuality in a future duet with Ed Sheerhan. The musicians recently talked collaborations on Twitter.

"@ddlovato let's write a song then !" Sheerhan said.

"I am SO down!!!!!!!" Lovato responded.
