“Empire” left fans with a major cliffhanger in the Season 2 finale where either Anika Calhoun (Grace Gealey) or Rhonda Lyon (Kaitlin Doubleday) gets pushed off of a balcony, Jamal Lyon (Jussie Smollett) refuses to sing and Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson) is heart broken by Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) yet again.

The Lyons Divide

The show’s Facebook Page posted a photo with the caption, “Will the Lyons stand united?”

That is of course a rhetorical question because the Lyons are always at each other’s throats. Then they make up. And then they break up again.

Lucious and Anika Back Together

In the Season 2 finale, Anika is “forced” to marry Lucious so that she does not testify against him in court.

Fans know she has something up her sleeve because ever since the end of Season 1, Anika has been trying her best to make Lucious miserable. Why pledge he loyalty now? Especially after she is carrying his youngest son Hakeem Lyon’s (Bryshere Y. Gray) baby.

Cookie and Lucious

Learning about the marriage upset Cookie after it seemed like she was falling for Luscious all over again as he opened up to her about his dark past.

Jamal warned her to not fall for that man again. He is only out for himself.

Jamal Refuses to Sing

Meanwhile, Jamal refuses to ever sing again until his family learns how to work together without turning to violence. After surviving a gunshot wound, he wants to make sure that his family leaves the streets behind.

Will the Lyons Stand United

With so much division in the Season 2 finale, it is hard to tell if the Lyons will come together as one big happy family again.

Cookie will be mad at Luscious for marrying Anika despite the circumstances. Hakeem might be mad at Anika if she starts to get needy since he is already pursuing a relationship with the love of his life.

If Rhonda was the one pushed off of the balcony, then Andre Lyon (Trai Byers) will be mad a Anika, and even more upset when he finds that his family will still try to protect her since she is carrying a Lyon’s baby.

And once Jamal finds all of this out, he will be furious because he made it clear that he was sick of all the drama.

“Ronda gonna fly like an eagle over that rail! You know they aren't going to kill two babies on the show! Bad for ratings! BooBoo gonna get it AFTER she gives birth!!!” Facebook User Sherrie Benson predicted.

So will the Lyons stand united after all of this mess?

Tune into FOX on Wednesday Sept. 21 to find out.
