Nicki Minaj has revealed that the title of her upcoming third studio album "The Pink Print." The title is indeed inspired by her obsession with Jay Z and his highly acclaimed sixth studio album "The Blueprint."

Earlier this year, the Queens emcee confirmed the Brooklyn rapper-inspired title, as part of the release of her music video for "Lookin Ass N****a," in which "The Pink Print" was featured as a caption. During her recent interview with Los Angeles radio station Power 106, Minaj also admitted that Jay Z is her hip-hop idol that she looks up to, as well as Young Money CEO Lil Wayne, while discussing the origin of the her forthcoming record's title.

"I think everybody knows how obsessed I am with Jay Z," she said. "He's always been my favorite rapper -- him and Wayne. He did such a great job of creating this 'Blueprint' brand for male rappers, I felt. And I studied a lot of his blueprint, just in terms of becoming a mogul."

Although her latest project is due soon enough, later this year, the female rapper said that she is in no rush to announce the release date for the upcoming album. "Nowadays, in this era, people want things so quickly," Minaj said. "We don't even absorb anything. We're never in the moment, ever. We're always in the future. So, I don't want them to think about the release date. I want them thinking about the music. 'Pills n Potions' just came out -- let's talk about that."

Nicki Minaj recently released her first single "Pills n Potions" off "The Pink Print." She briefly talked about the new track on the red carpet during the Billboard Music Awards: "It sounds like betrayal. It sounds like running. It sounds like fainting. It sounds like love. It sounds like, 'Aah.'"
