The second installment for 2014's "Guardian of The Galaxy" is coming this summer. Fans are being teased every now and then by trailers and updates regarding the plot and characters involved but still, many are thinking on what more to expect on a sequel. Now, director James Gunn provided a better description of the plot that they would take and the narratives that they've added in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2". The director revealed some important details during an interview while promoting his recent film, "The Belko Experiment."

According to Cinema Blend, Gunn was able to share some wild details on the upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2." In the interview, he said that while Chris Pratt's character maybe seemingly the most centered person in the film, it is much more than that as he included narratives of other characters and their roles. He explained that it is indeed focused on Peter Quill's quest to know more about his father, Ego the Living Planet but, some characters are also given back narratives to further explain.

First of these is Nebula's relationship with her sister, Gamora, wherein "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" will show how much misinterpretation or misconception has been rooted to fans' perspective thinking Nebula is just an antagonist. Second is Rocket, wherein Gunn detailed that the raccoon may find a friend in Yondu, played by Michael Rooker, as he tries to look for a father.

Movie Web added some information regarding the interview wherein they explained how Dave Bautista's character, Drax, and Mantis are incorporated in the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2."Other than the film being a comedic theme, there is also family-related issues that are bound to have by the characters. Lastly is Baby Groot in which the relationship of the 2 -year old creature to other peers as they try to be parents and colleagues.

The film is going to give brief information or perspective on how the team will raise Baby Groot while fighting off another villain.That is all and stay tuned for more updates. "The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is slated to hit theaters on May 5th.
