Apple continues to tease consumers with news about its newest offerings. Aside from a probable new iPhone (or two), reports say the company has already released the new beta version of its operating system.

TechCrunch reveals that Apple has already released the iOS 7 Beta 5 to developers. The release comes just a week after Beta 4. The new update includes several bug fixes that are aimed at polishing the new look and functions of the system.

The website said that release notes coming from a tipster reported that the fixes include, "addressing a problem around iPhone 4 devices not being able to download App Store content, as well as adding Voice Memos to the types of content restored when restoring from an iCloud backup."

MacWorld also noted that the OS is also available to download from the Apple Developer Centre. Tagged as the 11A4449a, it also includes redesigned Settings icons and a new Control Panel option that allows users to "disable the feature within apps."

Judging from the images posted on the site, the tweaks also include a change in the Twitter icon -- from its original white bird on a blue background to a negative version with a blue bird on a white background.

Notably, the boot screen of the iPhone 5 has also become color-sensitive. Boot screens now match the device's color: a white screen will show up for a white iPhone and a black screen for the black version.

The Messages have also been fixed. In Beta 4, first names and the last initial of a contact showed up in conversations. Now it only shows the first name. This option can also be changed in the Mail settings menu.

According to TechCrunch, all these changes and upgrades indicate the final and official iOS 7 could be released very soon.
