When craving something tasty people will automatically go to restaurants to order them. Some even ordered take out if they are in a hurry or they want to eat their food when they get home. Mexican food is always in demand because of the colorful, exotic and delicious tastes. We've compiled some delicious ideas for you try out while everyone is at home.

 

Chicken Burritos

A lot of people are obsessed with burritos and why not? It has everything that is needed to satisfy a person's tummy. Burritos are easily made; it will only take twenty (20) minutes to prepare and it is good to go.

Kelly Snyder who is an owner of Redefined Mom said that these burritos are always a hit in her house. She said burritos are not just easy to prepare but it is also very easy to cook. She just used whatever her refrigerator has and customized the recipe that is suitable to her liking or to picky eaters just like her kids. She can also prepare different recipes of burritos since it is individually wrapped.

Red Enchiladas

Enchilada is made of corn tortilla rolled around its filling and covered with savory sauce. It can be filled with different fillings. So Yvette Marquez-Sharpnack, a food blogger of Muy Bueno Cookbook decided to share her grandmother's recipe for Enchiladas, called Stacked Red Enchilada.

She prepared a dip that is made of rich, spicy homemade chili sauce covered with grated cheese and lots of onions. The enchilada is not rolled instead it is stacked. The homemade sauce is poured into a stacked enchilada with a side dish of eggs and Mexican rice.

Green Chili Corn Quesadillas

We all know that quesadillas are made of tortilla that is filled with cheese and will be heated and then it is good to go. This quesadilla is prepared in just fifteen (15) minutes tops. Aside from the fact that it is very easy to prepare, this quesadilla is very simple also. It has simple ingredients that are already present in the pantry. But this version of dish is made of green chilies and corn that can be canned corn or a fresh one. The corn actually brings the Mexican spirit of the quesadilla.

Taco Salad

For those people who are on a low carb diet, then this taco salad is perfect. The founder of Wholesum Yum and a food blogger, Maya Krampf shared her recipe of this salad. It is all made of vegetables and can vary depending on what vegetables are available in the kitchen.

Guacamole

Guacamole can be made in just fifteen minutes. Gina Homolka, an author and recipe developer, created guacamole in just five ingredients. And the secret of a good and perfectly tasty guacamole is ripe avocados. 

Carne Asada

Chungah Rhee is such a big fan of this dish and claims that she makes this dish every once a week. Her ingredients are quite simple and her carne asada only has cilantro, olive oil, soy sauce, orange, lime juice, garlic, jalapeno and cumin. But these ingredients make a delicious dish.

Salsa Roja

This salsa is completely made of tomatoes, serrano peppers, onion, garlic and cilantro. It can be refrigerated and very delicious.
