Joe Rogan garnered criticism and backlash after commenting on the woke culture and woke mob in one of his podcast episodes. Rogan's comments come as he interviewed stand-up comedian Joe List in an episode of his show entitled "The Joe Rogan Experience."

The two were talking about comedy movies until Rogan ranted that White men were being silenced because of the woke culture. Apart from his comment, Daily Caller noted that Rogan was also talking about how the woke mentality consumes the country as he warned people about the consequences of joining the work mob.

What Did Joe Rogan Say in His Podcast Show?

In his interview with List, Rogan tackled with the stand-up comedian about the evolving boundaries and what makes an acceptable comedy. Rogan then asked Lits whether a "good comedy" can still be made or is dangerous in terms of being canceled.

"It keeps going further and further and further down the line," said Rogan describing the woke culture. He added that agreeing to all the demands of the culture will boil down to "straight white men" not allowed to talk.

NBC News furthered that Joe Rogan continued to rant on List about his views on the mob. Rogan highlighted that straight white men would eventually be not allowed to go outside. At some point, List suddenly laughed while Rogan was talking. Rogan abruptly said, "I'm not joking. It will get there. It's that crazy," adding that the people are now living in f**ing crazy times.

"We just gotta be nice to each other man," said Rogan, adding that there's a lot of people taking advantage of the "weirdness" in that culture becoming the people's thing.

Joe Rogan Comment Backlash

Rogan's comments gathered different sympathies from the people online. However, most of them were criticisms of the podcast host. Some commenters even retaliated on the multimillion-dollar contract the host has received with Spotify in exchange for having his show.

One Twitter user said that "it's always" people with cable TV shows and podcasts on Spotify have no true voice. Another user expressed their disappointment in people believing that Rogan "is smart and should be taken seriously." One user, on the other hand, expressed that he wants Joe Rogan "specifically to not be allowed outside."

Some people also voiced their support for Rogan's statement given. Another Twitter user also expresses his impartial agreement, emphasizing that the issue will change when a straight White woman is taken into account.

Joe Rogan and Other Issues

Apart from his recent comment on the work culture and the woke mob, Joe Rogan was also criticized last month after he falsely claimed on his show that healthy young adults do not need to be vaccinated. Soon after, Rogan backpedaled on his statements, arguing that he is not an anti-vaxxer. NBC News noted that Joe Rogan is infamous for his interview with several controversial figures such as the far-right Proud Boys and shamed comedian Chris D'Elia.
