The two nieces of Paraguay's First Lady Silvana Lopez Moreira were among the children recently identified as victims of the Florida condo collapse.

New York Post reported that the girls were among the three children identified on Sunday, July 11. Alexia Maria Pettengill Lopez Moreira, 9, and Anna Sophia Pettengill Lopez Moreira, 6, were among the latest victims pulled from the rubble of last month's Florida condo collapse.

The Miami-Dade Police Department noted that the bodies of the two nieces of the Paraguay First Lady were recovered on July 7.

Paraguay first lady's sister, Sophia Lopez Moreira, and her brother-in-law, Luis Pettengill, were already identified earlier, along with their 3-year-old son, Luis Lopez Moreira.

The body of the family's nanny, Leidy Luna Villalba, 23, was also found in the ruins of Champlain Towers South last week. The kin of the Paraguay first lady reportedly owns an apartment inside the condo.

Other Children Identified as Victims of Florida Condo Collapse

The two nieces of the Paraguay first lady are not the only youngsters recently identified by the authorities. Lorenzo De Oliveira Leone, 5, was one of the kids who was also identified on Sunday. Leone's body was recovered by the rescuers on July 9.

New York Post reported that apart from the three children, there were other youngsters found in the rubble of the Florida condo collapse. Among them was seven-year-old Stella Cattarossi, whose father was among the first responders working on the debris.

Ten-year-old Lucia Guara, and four-year-old Emma Guara, who were placed in the same casket at their funeral, were also among the kids found at the site of the Florida condo collapse.

The two children were discovered with their mother. It happened four days after the body of their father was also pulled from the debris.

Florida Condo Collapse Death Toll Rises to 94

The discovery of the three children, including the nieces of the Paraguay first lady, came as the death toll of the Florida condo collapse rose to 94.

Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava confirmed that to date, 22 people remain unaccounted for. She added that 83 victims were already identified by the authorities, NPR reported.

"It's obvious that this [Florida building] has become much more of a collapsed building site," Surfside Mayor Charles Buckett said. The Surfside mayor further noted that officials decided to increase the security around the site of the Florida building collapse.

Although there has been "no criminality" at the site, Miami-Dade Police Department Director Alfredo Ramirez III said officials just want to make sure the area is secure to preserve personal items discovered at the Florida condo collapse site.

He said the victims' families always ask about "property" as they want some sort of connection to their family members.

"So it's very important that our process that we have in place continues to flow uninterrupted... It's part of the process. This is a long, painful, hurtful process," Ramirez said.
