A Brazilian Fortnite gamer was arrested by authorities over sexual allegations involving children. Raulino de Oliveira Maciel, who goes by the name RaulZito, was charged with sex attacks on two children aged 10 and 14 years old, New York Post reported.

The gamer was reported to be arrested on Tuesday in the state of Santa Catarina, according to a police report.

Brazilian Fortnite Gamer Arrested After Raping 2 Minors

According to the authorities, Maciel used his prominence in the gaming industry to abuse the children who were not identified, The U.S. Sun reported. Shack News noted that the arrest was done by the Police of Child and Adolescent Victims after the mother of one of the victims reached out to the authorities.

According to the report, one of the mothers of the victims revealed that her son suffered sexual abuse between February and May. Police confirmed that another child under 12 years old was also reported to be abused. The gender of the child was not identified by the authorities. Moreover, Brazilian authorities noted that the victims were child theater, film, and television actors, with work carried out in progress.

The investigation revealed that RaulZito utilized his online platforms such as Instagram to contact the children. Furthermore, investigators also noted that the Fortnite gamer promised the children to have access to jobs in the area of his expertise as well as the TV industry.

Citing a local television report from Brazil, Shack News highlighted that the children were abused many times to the point that both of the victims do not know how they occurred chronologically.

Brazilian authorities noted that the investigation for RaulZito continues to determine whether the Fortnite gamer had any other sex attack victims.

The alleged sex attacks were reported to take place in different areas such as Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro, and in the municipality of Sao Caetano do Sul, which is located in Sao Paolo.

The authorities did not disclose which prison RaulZito was booked.

Brazilian Fortnite Gamer Dropped by His Gaming Team

After the arrest for the Fortnite gamer happened, SBT Games - which was RaulZito's gaming team- removed him from the team. SBT Games highlighted in a statement that they are waiting for the facts and results of the investigation, Shack News stressed.

RaulZito was known to have hundreds and thousands of followers from different social media platforms. As of writing, Maciel has at least 207,000 followers on Instagram and 118,000 followers on Twitch. The gamer was also reported to have 144,000 subscribers on his YouTube account.

Maciel was reported to dye his beard pink to mark his 50,000 YouTube subscribers milestone. He then coloreed his hair blue when he reached the 100,000 marks on his channel.

The Brazilian gamer was known to live-stream himself playing the popular video game Fortnite on his social media platforms. The said game was released in 2017 and boasted at least 80 million active monthly users in the previous year.
