"It is difficult to heal a divided nation, especially when his predecessor continues to fuel messages of hate and violence. We are grateful that he is our President at a time when we and all democratic nations need to stand together for the Rule of Law. And a robust economic recovery needs a steady hand and one that cares about how that recovery affects all people."

"The president specifically addressed issues important to our community including anti-Asian hate crimes and the need to revise our laws so businesses have the workers they need and families don't wait decades to reunite. Immigration reform is not just good for our families, but for our country."

"We look forward to strengthening the Democratic majority in the Senate and the House by increasing AAPI representation and participation. And to continue to work on an economy that works for all and a democracy that is the beacon of freedom for the rest of the world."
