Melissa Cohen is the second wife of Hunter Biden, who has been hitting the headlines recently after The New York Times confirmed the authenticity of his infamous laptop.

President Joe Biden's son remains under federal investigation for matters related to tax payments and his foreign work.

Hunter has previously opened up about his relationship with his sister-in-law and the widow of his deceased brother, Beau Biden, in his 2021 memoir.

In his memoir "Beautiful Things," Biden's son said the affair "came out of a real overwhelming grief,"  the Independent reported.

Hunter Biden entered into a romantic relationship with his elder brother's widow, Hallie Biden, in 2017 or two years after Beau died of brain cancer. They split up in 2019.

Currently, the youngest son of the president is married to South African activist and documentary filmmaker Melissa Cohen.

Hunter Biden's Wife: Melissa Cohen

Hunter Biden and Melissa Cohen, who reportedly got matching tattoos, got married in May 2019 in Los Angeles. It was reported that the two first met the same month as their wedding, giving them only two weeks, according to The Sun.

Hunter said he instantly fell in love with Melissa and has "fallen in love with her more every day." Melissa was previously married to entrepreneur Jason Landver.

Melissa Cohen was reported to co-own Tribal Worlds, a company that works to "promote indigenous conservation." She was supportive of Barack Obama's presidency before she met Hunter.

She was also known to be critical of former President Donald Trump. Hunter and Melissa have a son who was born in March 2020. Cohen's brother described their newborn son as "beautiful and healthy."

Hunter had three other children with his ex-wife Kathleen Buhle namely Naomi, Finnegan, and Maisy. Biden's son had previously married Kathleen Buhle in 1993. They separated in October 2015, five months after Beau's death, and got divorced in 2017.

Hunter Biden is also reported to be the father of a child born to Lunden Alexis Roberts in August 2018. The president's son has denied fathering the child, but the court determined that he was the father of the girl, identified as Navy Joan.

Hunter Biden's Ex-Wife: Kathleen Buhle

Last January, Kathleen Buhle has opened up about her relationship with the president's youngest son for the first time.

According to People, Buhle, a nonprofit development executive, shared what her publisher calls a "story of resilience and self-discovery" in her book entitled "If We Break: A Memoir of Marriage, Addiction, and Healing."

Her book is due to come out on June 14, and it will be the first time she has made any public comment since their divorce or its aftermath.

The two shared 24 years of marriage before calling it quits. In filing for divorce in 2017, Buhle alleged that her estranged husband had spent money on drugs, alcohol, prostitutes, and strip clubs.

According to the book's publisher, Buhle's book will shine a light on the effect of addiction on relationships.

Buhle noted that she felt like she had lost the sense of who she was when her marriage ended. She added that anyone who has seen addiction ruin a relationship could tell how devastating it feels.

Hunter Biden's ex-wife said that writing the book has been "incredibly healing" for her, hoping that it will also be meaningful to those who have been through addiction or divorce.

Hunter Biden's "Beautiful Things" memoir also sheds light on his personal and professional challenges as he opened up about his alcohol and drug addiction struggles.
