Bad Bunny and Karol G were among the Latin artists who joined the list of winners at the Billboard Music Awards 2022 on Sunday.

Bad Bunny was the ultimate winner from the Latin category of the prestigious music awards show, as he was named this year's Top Latin Artist, E! News reported.

The Puerto Rican singer competed for the title with several Latin singers such as Farruko, Kali Uchos, Rauw Alejandro, and Karol G.

Bad Bunny was also hailed the Top Latin Male Artist winner. He went neck-to-neck with Farruko and Rauw Alejandro for the title.

Karol G was also recognized in the Billboard Music Awards 2022, as she bagged the Top Latin Album Award for her well-known "KG0516." The Top Latin Artist award was awarded to Kali Uchis, who competed for the title against Karol G and Rosalia.

Meanwhile, the Top Latin Duo/Group award was given to Eslabon Armado. The duo competed against Grupo Firme and Calibre 50 for the title.

Another Latin artist who won the Billboard Music Awards 2022 was Los Bukis, who bagged the Top Latin Tour award for their "Una Historia" tour in Canada.

Billboard Music Awards 2022: Other Winners

Olivia Rodrigo was among the singers who won several awards at the Billboard Music Awards 2022 that was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

According to Variety, Rodrigo won at least six awards, including Top New Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, and Top Streaming Songs Artist.

For the Top Female Artist award this year, the "Deja Vu" singer is competing with several outstanding musicians, such as Doja Cat, Taylor Swift, Adele, and Dua Lipa. As of this writing, the winner has yet to be announced.

Drake was also among the top winners this year, as the rapper won at least five different awards, including the Top Rap Album, Top Rap Male Artist, and Top Rap Artist.

Kid Laroi and Justin Beiber's song entitled "Stay" also bagged multiple awards this year, including Top Streaming Song, Top Collaboration, and Top Billboard Global 200 Song.

Country pop singer Taylor Swift also won four awards, including Top Country Album, Top Country Female Artist, and Top Country Artist.

Travis Scott Performs at the Billboard Music Awards 2022 

Another highlight of the Billboard 2022 Music Awards was Travis Scott's performance at the event. It was Scott's first major public performance since the Astroworld Festival tragedy last year.

According to Independent, Scott arrived at the venue of the event with his partner Kylie Jenner and their daughter Stormi.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder wore a blue-gray long-sleeve gown while Scott wore a dark green suit jacket, a white shirt, and matching suit pants.

Scott's performance at the Billboard Music Awards 2022 will also be his first televised performance since the Astroworld tragedy. The Billboard Music Awards 2022 is hosted by Sean "Diddy" Combs.
