Travis Barker will reportedly remain in hospital with his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, over the July 4th weekend as the drummer continues to get treatment for pancreatitis.

A source told The Sun that Travis was not due for discharge from the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California until Sunday.

Kourtney and the Blink-182 drummer will miss the planned July 4th vacation with the Kardashian family, who had already flown to the Turks and Caicos Islands for the celebratory trip.

"Travis is set to be released from hospital on Sunday, but this could change depending on his recovery," the source told the outlet.

The insider added that the 46-year-old drummer was "doing well," and Kourtney was not leaving his side to help him recover.

According to the doctors, Travis' pancreatitis was "triggered" by a recent colonoscopy. Sources told TMZ that the drummer recently underwent the "invasive" examination.

Travis Barker Health Update: Drummer Rushed to Hospital With Kourtney Kardashian at His Side

Earlier this week, Travis Barker was rushed to West Hills Hospital in Los Angeles, California after experiencing extreme stomach pain and could barely walk. Kourtney Kardashian was seen following close behind Travis as he entered the hospital on Tuesday.

A spokesperson for Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station told The Sun that there had been no 911 calls made from Kourtney or Travis' addresses on Tuesday.

The couple is believed to have headed to the West Hills Hospital themselves. Photographs obtained by TMZ showed Travis entering the facility on a gurney while being closely followed by his 43-year-old wife.

After the medical crew at West Hills felt Travis needed additional care, the rockstar was then taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai.

Travis' condition was not immediately clear. But during the ordeal, he managed to tweet, "God save me." After the drummer entered the hospital, his 16-year-old daughter Alabama pleaded to her Instagram followers to send prayers for her dad.

A source told People that Travis was getting the best care at Cedars-Sinai, noting that doctors are focusing on pain management and determining the drummer's condition via "a battery of tests and a modified diet."

According to Johns Hopkins, a patient with pancreatitis is typically in the hospital for a few days and is given IV fluids, antibiotics, and pain medicine.

Yahoo! Entertainment reported that its symptoms range from severe belly pain that can spread to the back or chest, fever, nausea, vomiting, and rapid heart rate, among others.
