A possible second Oprah Winfrey interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has reportedly been causing distress to the royal family.

According to She Knows, the buzz started to heat up after photos of the Sussexes driving over to Winfrey's house in June surfaced.

The outlet noted that the palace is paying attention to this news and are in "panic mode" that another TV special could happen in the future.

Royal expert Daniela Elser told the New Zealand Herald that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are "holding some pretty powerful cards," especially with Harry's upcoming memoir and the palace's refusal to release the bullying report from allegations against Markle.

Elser noted that the royal family's PR strategy has dramatically changed since the Platinum Jubilee last month. It is also what royal author Omid Scobie observed after Prince Charles hired a former tabloid editor as his new communications secretary.

Elser also commented on the official statement about Charles meeting the Sussexes' daughter Lilibet for the first time.

Claiming it was unprofessional, she said the statement "reads like the sort of frothy briefing an LA publicist would give a supermarket tabloid," with "six 'verys' in four sentences," and not something that usually comes from the royal houses.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Second Oprah Winfrey Interview

Nigel Farage, the former leader of the U.K Independence and Brexit parties, recently told Sky News Australia anchor Paul Murray that a rumored "second interview could be underway" between the Sussexes and Oprah Winfrey.

According to Newsweek, Farage told Murray in the interview that if it were true, "they won't succeed." Farage noted that another interview would be detrimental to their image.

Farage said if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do the interview again, the pair will look "vindictive, money-grubbing." He added that even those people who have given the couple the benefit of the doubt would start to turn against them.

Farage said his belief that "you do feel actually with the pair of them," the couple were beginning to "look a little bit desperate." He noted that the couple sought victimhood while "they jet around the world on their private jets," and "it's just not working."

Farage has been an outspoken critic of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the past. Oprah Winfrey and the Sussexes are neighbors. They both live in the Santa Barbara area of Los Angeles, California.

First Oprah Winfrey Interview With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle opened up about their royal life during the first Oprah Winfrey interview. Markle said life as a royal had made her suicidal, adding that she was ashamed to admit it to Harry, The New York Times reported.

The Duchess of Sussex noted that at one point, she asked a senior royal about the possibility of seeking inpatient care. She was told it would not be possible as it "wouldn't be good for the institution."

Markle further noted that the British tabloids were "vicious" to her, making racist comments about her. On the other hand, Prince Harry opened up about his relationship with Prince Charles.

He noted that his father was not taking his phone calls and even asked him to put things into writing when he and his wife were weighing taking a step back from their roles as senior royals.

Prince Harry later said that his father was now taking his calls again. However, he noted that there was still "a lot to work through there."

Meghan Markle also said the royal family had failed to correct the false narrative around her - about her "dive-like behavior" and how "she had bullied her staff."
