"Goodfellas" and "Law and Order" star Paul Sorvino passed away on Monday at the age of 83.

Sorvino's death was announced by his publicist, Roger Neal, saying that their "hearts are broken" and that there will never be another Paul Sorvino, per CNN.

Sorvino is survived by his wife and three children, including actress Mira Sorvino, and eight grandchildren.

Paul Sorvino Manner of Death

According to Sorvino's publicist, the actor died of natural causes. However, Neal did not elaborate on the manner and cause of his death.

The said information was confirmed by DeeDee Soriano, who also shared that her husband died of natural causes.

"Our hearts are broken, there will never be another Paul Sorvino, he was the love of my life and one of the greatest performers to ever grace the screen and stage," Sorvino's wife said.

Meanwhile, Sorvino's daughter, Mira, took to social media to share what she feels about the death of her father.

"My father the great Paul Sorvino has passed. My heart is rent asunder- a life of love and joy and wisdom with him is over," the award-winning actress said. She also pointed out that her father was 'the most wonderful father" and that she loves him so much. Roger Neal also announced that the actor died in Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.

Fans and Celebrities on Paul Sorvino Death

Fans and celebrities mourned on Monday after learning about the death of Paul Sorvino.

Award-winning actor Jason Alexander took to Twitter to pay tribute to the star, claiming that Sorvino was "magnificent" in all the roles he acted. He also extended his blessing to the family and friends Sorvino left behind.

Mortal Combat co-creator, Ed Boon, also took to social media to express how he feels when Paul Sorvino died after Henry Hill.

Filmmaker and actor Siddhant Adlakha cannot believe that Paul Sorvino, James Caan, Tony Sirico, and Ray Liotta all died in three months.

One fan also took to social media to share a clip of Mira Sorvino when she won Best Supporting Actress for "Mighty Aphrodite," which according to the fan was their favorite moment. The clip showed Mira thanking her father who was caught by the camera moved by what she said.

Paul Sorvino's career spanned half of the century, portraying different roles in different films, such as "The Gamble" in 1974, "Bulworth" in 1998, and "Rules Don't Apply" in 2016.

One of his most notable roles was when he gave life to Paul Cicero from the "Goodfellas," where Sorvino played a mobster who retained his passion for cooking and fine cuisine.

Sorvino received a Tony nomination in 1973 and Drama Des Award for his performance as Phil Romano in "That Championship Season."

Sorvino is also known to be a tenor and his singing skills led him to the New York Opera Lincoln Center in 2006.
