OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney, who allegedly stabbed her boyfriend in their Florida apartment in April, was arrested in Hawaii on Wednesday.

The Independent reported that the 26-year-old social media influencer will be extradited back to Florida for trial. Clenney was charged with second-degree murder with a deadly weapon for the April 3 stabbing of Christian "Toby" Obumseli in their luxury Miami high-rise apartment.

Officials in Miami have yet to release a statement regarding her arrest. Clenney's lawyer, Frank Prieto, said he was completely shocked, especially since they were cooperating with the probe, and offered to surrender his client voluntarily if she was charged.

Her lawyers claimed the killing was "justified" since she acted in self-defense. Clenney is known as Courtney Tailor on social media platforms. She has more than two million followers.

Prieto said the OnlyFans model was in Hawaii for substance abuse rehabilitation and treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder when she was arrested. He added that they look forward to clearing Courtney Clenney's name in court.

OnlyFans Model and Boyfriend Relationship

Courtney Clenney and Christian Obumseli, a cryptocurrency trader, met in Austin, Texas, and had been dating for less than two years.

Daily Mail reported that their relationship was tumultuous. Clenney was reportedly arrested for domestic battery in Las Vegas, and police were called to their home in Austin on several occasions.

The couple moved to Miami earlier this year. Staff and residents of the One Paraiso building where they lived had reported multiple domestic disturbance complaints about the couple. They even moved to evict them.

According to Prieto, Clenney was forced to stab her boyfriend after he grabbed her by the throat on the night of April 3. The victim's brother earlier said they do not believe in the OnlyFans model's statement and demanded that she be charged for killing Obumseli.

Jeffrey Obumseli, the victim's brother, was angered by Clenney not being charged immediately, adding that it was because of her "privilege" as a "wealthy white woman" and not because of her self-defense claim.

After he stabbed Obumseli, Courtney Clenney called 911 and said she acted in self-defense when she stabbed her boyfriend in the shoulder.

OnlyFans Model Courtney Clenney Stabbed Boyfriend

Video from the scene obtained by TMZ showed Courtney Clenney handcuffed and drenched in blood in a bra after the two had their fight.

Representing Christian Obumseli's family, Larry Handfield pushed to reopen the investigation of the case. According to New York Post, Handfield said cops visited the couple's residence on at least four occasions for domestic calls, and the victim was never taken into custody or charged.

Handfield added that the OnlyFans model was not taken into custody despite reportedly having an open warrant for a 2015 public intoxication case in California.

Clenney was also allegedly due in a Texas court on a 2020 driving under the influence (DUI) charge at the time of the killing.

Obumseli's brother, Jeffrey, also slammed the OnlyFans model for videos that emerged following the stabbing incident that show her covered in blood, kissing her dogs, and ordering drinks at the hotel bar.

However, Prieto refuted this claim, saying Courtney Clenney was not "casually getting drinks" and was only sitting at an unattended table in the hotel lobby area, which also has a bar.
