Texas mom Yolanda N'Gaojia visited the grave of her son, Amir N'Gaojia, on what would have been his 22nd birthday. Sadly, the mother was shot and killed by Christian Lamar Weston, 17.

Teen Who Killed Texas Mom Held Without Bond

The official website of the Killeen Police Department reported that after Christian Lamar Weston's arrest, the Bell County District Attorney's Office reviewed the case on Saturday and charged him with murder.

Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson arraigned the teen and ordered him to be held without bond. As for his unrelated unlicensed carrying of a weapon charge, Johnson set his bond at $5,000.

According to Crime Online, Weston is awaiting to be transported to the Bell County Jail. Police have not revealed a motive in the killing of Yolanda. Investigations into the case are still ongoing.

According to Killeen Police Department, police officers were called to respond to the shooting at the cemetery at around 5 p.m. on March 22. Two victims were shot, including the Texas mom and one family friend.

Yolanda N'Gaojia did not make it, but her family friend only received non-life-threatening injuries. According to police, the family friend was treated and released at the scene.

Texas Mom's Ex-Husband Cries for Justice, Demands the Death Penalty

Kineh N'Gaojia, Yolanda N'Gaojia's ex-husband and Amir N'Gaojia's father, is calling for Christian Lamar Weston to receive the death penalty.

In a post on social media, the ex-husband said he had no words to describe his pain and hoped that Yolanda's killer would get the death penalty.

Kineh asked why the teen had to kill a mother while visiting her son's grave during his birthday, adding that the bullets Weston fired took a "precious gem" from them.

He also called his deceased ex-wife an "Amazing Angel" and asked her to guide them and kiss his son Amir for him. He said he will miss her and loved her.

According to Daily Mail, capital murder is reportedly the only felony in Texas that is eligible for the death penalty, and the exact circumstances of Watson's charges are still unclear. So it is still unknown if his case will warrant capital punishment, such as getting the death penalty.

Amir N'Gaojia was reportedly killed on New Year's Day. He was 21. The cause of his death is still unclear, but he did have a criminal record.

Amir was out on bond for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon at the time of his death. He was arrested in 2020 for allegedly threatening and shooting at a family member in a squabble over a video game controller.
