Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone Split

Reports claimed that Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone split after four years of dating. Sources confirmed to People about their split.

A source close to the actor told The Sun Tuesday that the couple quietly' ended their relationship earlier this summer.

The insider said DiCaprio and Morrone had recently grown apart. The source added that the pair had no bad feelings for each other and "it just came to a natural conclusion."

According to Daily Mail, the breakup seemed to reinforce Leonardo DiCaprio's established pattern of not publicly dating a woman over 25 years old. They reportedly split up two months after Camila Morrone turned 25.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone Relationship

Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone had been linked since January 2018 during an outing in Colorado. They made their debut as a couple in February 2020, when they sat together in the front row at the Oscars.

The "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" actor is Camila's senior by 22 years. In 2019, a source told People that DiCaprio and Morrone "seemed pretty serious" with each other.

The source noted that the two were not in a casual relationship. The insider said Camila "is long known" as DiCaprio's girlfriend, and the actor has introduced her to "both of his parents long ago."

In the same year, Morrone told the Los Angeles Times that their age difference was not important to her. In June 2020, an insider told People that DiCaprio "loves being with" Morrone, and they "spent 24/7" with each other amid the pandemic lockdown.

They reportedly had taken the major step of moving in together in December of the same year. Morrone previously expressed her frustrations during the course of her relationship with DiCaprio. She noted that it was "frustrating" to be mostly known due to her relationship with the Oscar winner.

"I feel like there should always be an identity besides who you're dating. ... I understand the association, but I'm confident that will continue to slip away and be less of a conversation," Morrone noted.
