Prince Andrew is reportedly planning to release his own tell-all memoir, just like what Prince Harry did with his best-selling memoir "Spare."

The Duke of York wants to "set the record straight" after fellow royal family members have kept him away from the public view since being associated with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. In addition, he is reportedly talking to American authors regarding the planned tell-all memoir, according to The Daily Beast.

A source told the media outlet that the possibility of writing a book is "being talked about regularly."

The source added that Harry's own memoir showed the public that there is "no shortage" of the hunger to hear stories about the royal family.

One source also said that Andrew "was the original spare" and that he had a lot to say regarding the matter while also giving the Duke of York the opportunity to "fully explain his association" with Epstein.

Another insider said that there are people, particularly those close to him, telling Andrew that "it's a stupid idea."

One name being floated around to being part of the tell-all memoir project is biographer Daphne Barak.

Prince Andrew's Own 'Spare' Tell-All Memoir

Andrew's memoir is said to have piqued the interest of two large U.S. publishers.

His want to write his own version came after reports that the Duke of York was upset over Queen Elizabeth's inheritance, with the $790 million Duchy of Lancaster estate transferred directly "monarch to monarch."

Andrew was reportedly feeling resentful of his older brother, King Charles, for not giving him a few million dollars of the inheritance.

One friend noted in a Daily Mail report said that the duke needs to "find ways of making money and supporting himself."

Jeremy Murphy, the founder of New York-based PR firm 360bespoke, said that she has no doubt that Andrew will get several offers from big publishers.

Murphy added he does not think that there would be a big advance. It would probably be a contract that would grant Andrew royalties.

He said it would be surprising if Andrew were to be given an advance of even a million dollars.

Prince Andrew on Queen Elizabeth Inheritance

Andrew was reportedly "bewildered" that he has not been given a portion of the inheritance, according to royal sources.

The duke is reported to have told friends that he feels "despair" that King Charles has not shared any of his new wealth among his siblings, as reported by The Telegraph.

A palace source noted that Queen Elizabeth's inheritance was given to the new monarch as it was the most "tax-efficient" way to transfer the wealth.

Andrew currently resides at Royal Lodge in Windsor. He will also be responsible for the refurbishment cost of the property.

Meanwhile, Charles was reported to be planning to cut Andrew's annual £249,000 allowance from the Duchy Lancaster.

Despite the cut in budgets, royal sources noted that Charles will not be leaving his brother "homeless or penniless."
