Prince Andrew was reportedly removed from Buckingham Palace by his brother King Charles.

One source noted that King Charles has made it clear that "Buckingham Palace" is no place for his younger brother, the Duke of York.

The insider noted that Andrew's office closed last year and now his sleeping quarters, adding that the younger brother of the king "loved having a suite" at the palace.

The source went on to say that Andrew brought back girlfriends to his home in the palace, even model Caprice.

King Charles reportedly told his younger brother that Andrew could stay at the royal residence of St. James if he wishes to stay in London.

A spokesperson for King Charles has yet to comment on the matter while Buckingham Palace representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Several royal experts noted that they have heard things about a royal eviction, adding that they were not surprised.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams noted that Andrew's eviction will "doubtless" be explained away as part of the 10-year renovation of the palace.

Fitzwilliams added that Andrew is also a danger to the monarchy with his "refusal to accept what he brought about by his disastrous" personal connections and decisions.

Prince Andrew Buckingham Palace Eviction

It was reported that the Duke of York was not using his Buckingham Palace suites and still living at the Royal Lodge at Windsor with Sarah Ferguson.

There are no immediate plans to remove Andrew from the Windsor Royal Lodge now. It is unclear how royal security will be handled in the future, according to ET Online.

One source noted that it was surprising that Andrew still received royal benefits after he was ordered to step back from his royal duties years ago.

Andrew's security detail remains to be a point of argument after Prince Harry and Meghan were stripped of their security when they step down as royal seniors.

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield Charles would like to see Buckingham Palace turned into a museum, which could be why Andrew was removed from the Palace quarters.

In addition, it aligns with Charles' coronation, which would take place on May 6.

Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein Scandal

The late Queen Elizabeth authorized the removal of Andrew's private office amid the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

Barclays at the time also announced that it was withdrawing its support from Andrew's entrepreneurship project, which was "Pitch@Palace" due to his current scandal.

Other companies such as KPMG, Cisco, Standard Chartered, Huddersfield College, and Melbourne Tech Institute also decided to sever their ties with the Duke of York.

Andrew released a statement last November saying that it has become clear to him that his connections with Epstein "has become a major disruption to my family's work."

He went on to say that he "unequivocally regret" his ill-judged relations with Epstein.

Andrew was accused of sexual harassment by Epstein victim Virginia Roberts in a U.S. lawsuit.
