Donald Trump Campaign Rallies

The recent Donald Trump South Carolina rally marked only the second major event of his 2024 campaign.

The first rally took place in March in Waco, Texas, where Trump criticized the prosecutors investigating him on hush-money charges, which eventually led to his indictment, AP reports.

Despite facing legal challenges, Trump confidently predicted his vindication. Due to tornado warnings, another scheduled outdoor rally in Iowa had to be canceled in May.

Organizing these large-scale rallies comes at a significant expense, but Trump's fundraising efforts have continued to generate millions of dollars.

This has been the case even after he faced indictment in New York and federal charges related to the retention of classified documents following his departure from the White House.

The cost of these rallies amounts to approximately half a million dollars each, according to Chris LaCivita, a senior Trump aide.

In addition to the rallies, the Trump campaign has incorporated unannounced stops at various restaurants to underscore his enduring appeal among supporters, despite the numerous legal hurdles he faces.

Notable examples include visiting a renowned Philadelphia cheesesteak restaurant and the iconic Cuban eatery Versailles in Miami.

Despite a growing field of Republican candidates for the 2024 presidential nomination, Trump's campaign highlights polls that depict him as the frontrunner, enjoying a considerable lead over his rivals.

Although his campaign schedule may appear less busy than some of his competitors, Trump has maintained a frequent presence in media interviews and participated in various multi-candidate events throughout the primary season.

This includes his recent appearance at the Moms for Liberty gathering in Philadelphia.
